The Nanny!

Hi everyone,
Well as you can see Pippi has turned out to be the perfect nanny for Polly. When Polly wants a break from the kids Pippi steps in. Thankfully Polly doesn't fight her anymore now she knows the puppies are in good hands, or should I say paws?!! Pippi is so gentle with them. She would have been a wonderful mother herself but we didn't want to breed with her all those years ago. Now I think she is a very frustrated mother!
It is so sweet watching the babies grow and change. They each have distinct personalities and I can tell them apart but no one else can with the same strike rate.
On the writing front all is going well. Thanks for all the lovely emails and Facebook comments about my books. I find it very inspiring and motivating to be given feedback.
Hope your week is fabulous.
Mel xx

posted by Blogger Melanie Milburne : 8:51 PM Sorry. I do not speak English ... I'm Brazilian and since kid. I've always liked more Spanish (the English it was very complicated jajaja) My mother and I are fans of his books... you write beautifully ... We have all the books that were published in Portuguese... the first novel I read was "Innocent Wife, Baby of Shame" is one of my favorites ... I confessed that I cried from the beginning to end when I read it ... I like stories that I convey some emotion, and this, in particular, really touched me alot (although I think the "Keira" too quickly forgave the "Patrizio", but is well hahaha) In the above message I said that I also love dogs, in fact I have nine daughters, daughters because they are my real passion along with my four cats ...I wish you all luck in the world, and much happiness to you and your entire family ... God bless you always

You write beautiful English! Thank you so much for your lovely comments.
I envy you with nine daughters! I have a daughter-in-law whom I love but only two sons. I adore them of course.
I am so glad you like my books. I hope you get all of them in your language. They are translated into about 26 languages so hopefully you will get the collection.
I would love to go to Brazil. It is one of the places on my must visit list.
All the best,
Melanie

posted by Blogger Melanie Milburne : 2:07 PM I didn't express myself well. (by the way, I hate English) hahaha ... I'm sorry ... when I say I have nine daughters, I mean my dogs, nine females ... I say I'm their mother because I love them so much, as if they were my real babies ... I don't have sons, I'm very young, only 25 years old ... I'm currently finishing college of veterinary medicine ... and I have a store for pets! I'm really thrilled to be able to speak with one of my favorite writers ... The publisher Harlequin has launched this month plus one of your books (I don't know the titles in English) ... the review seemed very interesting and I'm anxious to read ... kisses from Brazil

Now I understand! Nine dogs would be very busy, maybe just as busy for you as nine kids!
I think being a veterarian would be a wonderful job.All those animals to cuddle and look after.
All the best with your studies,
Melanie
